Principality of New Pacific is a micronation , sometimes also referred to as a cybernation, fantasy country, model country and new country project.

Principality of New Pacific and New Pacific Co. are trying to raise money for building artificial island. The Principality of New Pacific has discovered a coral atoll, about 2 miles long by 1 mile in width. The atoll is above water at low tide in some places about 6 inches. The atoll is located in The Central Pacific Ocean and is in international waters. New Pacific has plans, to build a large steel / concrete platform above the atoll, in preparation to building a cement foundation. New Pacific plans to corral a section of 100x100 feet under the platform, then pump the water out and fill it with concrete, to establish the first permanent structure. The next phase will be to dredge deep into the reef layers, creating a harbor and using the dredged material to build up parts of the island. The estimate cost for first phase of materials and transportation is only $500,000.

New Pacific Company is raising funds to purchase a ro/ro ferry ship, or a cruise ship, that will be used as a temporary home for New Pacific citizens, and become the sovereign territory while construction work is being completed on the reef project. Until New Pacific can declare statehood, the New Pacific Capital ship (when not in international waters) will be registered under a flag of convenience, and act as an autonomous region.
